Athlete Game Entry
Each athlete is expected to declare if they will be attending the game the week prior to the game. Failure to do so may result in missed playtime.
Instructions:
- Go to the schedule and select "Meet Entry"
- Declare if you will be "attending". If not, please leave a note for the coaches
- Select the event (based on your team JVG, VG, VB, JVB)
- Sign-up for jobs for the game based on your current team
Reminder:
Your declaration is due the week prior to the game on Friday @ midnight.
Athlete Game Desk
Please check your assigned Game Desk Day and Game Order.
Athletes, it is your responsibility to find a replacement and notify Team Manager Kristin if you need this changed.
Athlete Home Game Desk Job Assignments
For every HOME game, it is required that EVERY athlete volunteers to run the game desk at least once in the season.
The table below shows the teams who will volunteer and run the game desk for each team (i.e. VG, VB). Will need to arrive 2 games prior or stay 2 games after.
For League Games at Home
JvB 4:30p, VB Desk
JvG 5:30p, VG desk
VB 6:30p, JvB Desk
VG 7:30p, JvG Desk
For Two Games at Home

Game desk jobs:
1. Clock Manager
Start/Stop the shot clock and game clocks. Updates Scores. Manage ejection and timeout clock.

2. Flags
Updates the score and manages the ejection flags. Rotates with the timekeeper every other quarter and assists the timekeeper with what's happening in the pool.
3. Scorebook Scribe
Request the roster from the coaches and log the cap # and athlete's name in the scorebook.
Logs all events (i.e. ejections, goals, timeouts, etc) with their cap numbers into the official scorebook.

4. Scorebook Announcer
Helps the scorebook scribe by watching the game and ref and repeating the time, cap and event.
